Workshop Highlights: Dr. John Burdett Teaches Us the Art of Instrumental Music
Earlier this semester we had an amazing academy wide workshop revolving around skills and techniques from the disciplines in Instrumental Music. Director of Instrumental Studies and Director of Bands at Azusa Pacific University, Dr. John Burdett, taught our academy students the art of instrumental music.

PAA Students Light Up A Room
Earlier this month (September 2022) a group of our students had the privilege of going to a private ETC (Electronic Theatre Controles, Inc.) training. It was through this training that our students learned how to program lighting consoles and earned their level 1, 2, & 3 certifications.

Academy Students Rock
On Thursday, August 4th the city of West Covina held their annual Film It Festival at the West Covina Civic Center. Prior to the beginning of the festival, two student run bands performed for the fully packed house - Irrationality & Los Socios.
Los Socios, is a band that was developed out of connections made within the WCHS Performing Arts Academy.
Welcome the Newest Member of the Team
